DIY Jeans + Nails to Match

DIY Jeans + Nails to Match!

So when my all-time favorite jeans ripped this weekend, I almost had a meltdown! Luckily through some Pinterest searching and inspiration I decided I wanted to try and repair them. My Grandmother loves to sew so I searched through her fabric scraps and came across this adorable floral print (I’m sure you all know by now how much I love floral prints…).

I’m not an expert but I love how they turned out! And of course I had to do my nails to match πŸ™‚

I wanted the bottom half of my nails to look like jeans, so with about 5 different shades of blue I “dry brushed” to get the look. Basically you wipe off most of the polish from the brush and lightly swipe it up/down/side to side and layer different colors.

For the top portion I painted white and then used various colors for the flowers. A majority of the colors I used (all except the blues/greens) were from NCLA. This particular shade shown here is I Only Fly PrivateΒ and it matched the stitching to perfection <3
