Christmas is just around the corner, can you believe it?! For these nails I wanted them to look wrapped like a present 🙂
I started off with 2 coats of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Wet My Thistle (the lighter green) and for some fun designs on the “wrapping paper” I added in darker green lines and dots on every nail using a nail art brush and dotting tool, along with CND Vinyl in Lush Tropics.
For the ribbon, I first painted on a horizontal stripe on every nail using CND Rose Brocade. The red is a little sheer so I added 2 coats to cover the underlying design. On the ring finger I added a vertical stripe also, and then outlined the stripes in China Glaze I’d Melt for You (silver).
For the bow I painted it with the red, and outlined it again with the silver. Was a bit difficult to cover up underneath because it was so sheer, but a couple coats did the trick!
