I’m all for a good geometric design! I typically go crazy with my geometric manis, but I wanted to keep this one simple with clean lines and bright colors. I used OPI’s newest Brazil collection for this one. I’ve linked the colors at Ulta to give you a good look, but OPI is sold at many different places 🙂
1) After a base coat, I painted 2 coats of Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around (the lighter nude).
2) Let it dry for 1-2 minutes, then paint the darker nude shade over half the nail- I Sao Paulo Over There. I just used the brush straight out of the bottle for this, but feel free to grab your nail art brush to get that straight line!
3) Using Where Did Suzi’s Man-Go?, I painted a line halfway down the center of the nail with a nail art brush. I painted the line a bit thicker, and then cleaned it up to make it have sharp corners.
4) Down by the cuticle, I painted Live. Love. Carnaval. This is not quite a “half moon” shape. I painted a straight line 1-2 mm away from the cuticle, and then filled it in.
5) Clean up and top coat!
Overall I really love the quality of these polishes. There’s a fantastic variety in colors with some really unique ones, not to mention some fantastic staples to add to your nail polish collection!
Have you tried some shades from the Brazil collection? What do you think? Let me know in the comments!
